When I watch my shadow in the moonlight
Walking on the fresh falling snow
I smile and think to myself

“Why Must I Have A Faith?”

I know there is something bigger
Than I that has control over my life
I know there is something behind the sky
That makes it shine
…or rain,
…or snow.

I know there is something that guides me
towards peace and harmony
with all I feel and see.

I know that for me to achieve my purpose for being
I must submit to the inner power that lets me know
that I must have faith in something
if I am to become anything.

I must believe I am meant to be something
more than sorrow, fear, or loss.
My meaning is clear because my faith is real.
My faith is real, because I have let myself go.
And my faith has picked up my soul and now
is in control of where I go, who I talk to
And what I do while sharing moments with you.

Yes faith is the one thing
one must have to carry them through.
Each moment of each day
you must become your faith
or something else will take your place.

I had a late night talk with a friend
Here is the conversation form
Beginning to end………….

We talked of God being one within man
And all who don’t understand
We are all one…………….

God is not somewhere away from you
God is not out of sight
Everything you see is God

Sometimes when we love, we lose our heads
And react negative towards the one we feel
has done us wrong
When we hurt, we want to hurt those
we feel brought about our sorrow

And many times when we realize our foolish mistake
It’s too late…………………
We now see, if we could have reacted positive
we would be more at peace of mind today.

My point is simply this………….
Many times we must be strong
enough to move on, in spite of who
was right or wrong……………..

Many times in love as in life you must have faith
and realize when it’s out of our hands
that’s why the positive road is the best one to take
as you go through A……Love……Earthquake

You may just have to rebuild again
starting off as friends,
true love never ends……………………

Sometimes you must walk away feeling so weak
you can hardly lift your troubled feet,
nor see, blinded by the confused and sad tears
in your once happy eyes.

But you must believe in the seed of positive thinking
My point is simply this……………Once you take that
Positive step in your life……………………………….

You will and shall be blessed with the flowers of love
Waiting to embrace you
Believe this to be true

Only then you will realize
No one done you wrong, they only made you strong
And one you return on your feet to those that seek you’re your forgiveness
You won’t mention it

Because they have made you strong and love did not
Leave you alone.

How do you tell the one you love
you are numb with shock
as you watch them drink or drug
their life away each day…………

What can you say
to awake them back to the reality
of so many children in need of positive
people to get sound advice and direction from.

How can you tell them
the sadness deep inside
as you watch all your togetherness
dreams die………….

How can you make them hear your scream
to return back to sweet reality?

How can you look them in the eyes
and tell them to stop getting high?

How can you tell them you no longer
can stay in their life
and watch them slowly die
because as long as you stay,
they will think it’s alright

How can you tell them
before you have to say goodbye…?

Just drop them my lines to
any woman, child, or man and then ask them
“What part don’t you understand?”

Dear Lord,

When you undress your mind and run naked
proclaiming you are a child of God
Many become on guard
because they have not started to let go
of there mental hold
Cars, clothes, and dough

And as if you are a threat to them
you become a secret enemy…
Because now they must destroy you
to feel at peace in their material world…

You are free from the fear
of not having those luxuries
And you are in peace
because you tell the world
God is all you need and the love you seek

You say life is about being me,
and the only way one could be at peace
is reaching the spiritual soul…

Now the guys and gals with the gold and furs
deny your wisdom and say
Life is to live whichever best makes you happy

And the child of God asks,
What is so happy about not sharing and caring
for those in search of their souls?
